A Trip to Bhutan

Sharing Travel Experiences from My Recent Trips and International Travel Tours to Europe.

What I aim to do is not just travel to different destinations for fun. Picture immersing yourself in a new and diverse culture by learning about the historical background, art, culinary developments, and traditions, directly from the people!

Thanks to my connections with chefs from all over the world at the International Star Chef Congress in New York, I am excited to introduce remarkable destinations to my customers and travel companions worldwide!

In this newsletter, I will focus on the upcoming tour, the "Bhutan Culinary & Cultural Adventure

Tour," taking place from March 14th to March 21st, 2024. This tour is named "Happiness Discovery - Phallus Village," and it's a group-inclusive tour for a minimum of 8 to 10 people, lasting 7 days and 6 nights. Nestled amidst the Himalayan mountains, Bhutan is often referred to as the "Switzerland of Asia" or "The Land of the Thunder Dragon" (derived from Bhutan's traditional name - Druk Yul). Bhutan gauges the well-being of its citizens using the Gross National Happiness as an indicator. From the lush, southern region to the frigid north, Bhutan boasts extensive forest cover and a diverse range of wildlife and culinary experiences.

On this unique journey to Bhutan, you can explore the Dzong fortresses, delve into Buddhist teachings, connect with the welcoming locals, and much more!

Rice is a staple in many different cultures worldwide. It serves as a primary food source for more than half of the global population, with an estimated consumption of over 500 million metric tons annually. In Bhutan, rice is the primary crop, and efforts are ongoing to enhance rice self-sufficiency.
