Here is our itinerary:

Day 1

Visit Accropolis Hill & Acropolis Museum.

Walk in Plaka, Ancient Agora, Monastiraki Square

Taste the Greek culinary world through Athens' most traditional food science & famous gourmet cuisine.

Day 2

Experience the local markets, Varvakeios - Market, Central Market & open market shops.

Visit & Experience the best cafes & bakeries in Athens.

Taste the best meatballs at Avli & enjoy the best traditional Greek food at Klimataria.

Going to Varvakeios fish & meat market shopping for cooking Dinner with the Chef at the Ergon House.

Day 3

Visit an island near Athens (one-day trip)

Hydra Island whole day trip, visiting the sightseeing of the island, markets, shops, restaurants, cafes & bakeries, having a relaxed lunch on the island.

Day 4

Visit 4 vineyards close to Athens,  - Ktima Kakotou

- Markou Vineyards

- Domaine Vassiliou

- Gikas Winery

Lunch & Dinner are included on the day Tour.

Day 5

Visit the archeological site of Sounion

Experiencing the Archeological Museum of Lavrion East Attica Region.

After the visit to these archeological sites, we will have lunch at an organic & traditional Greek farm/restaurant.

Day 6 - 8

Travel from Athens to Messologi ( 241km - 2h41min) in western Greece between Acheloos and Evinos rivers.

It is famous for its complex of wetlands which comprise six different interlinked lagoons. It is considered to be the biggest such ecosystem in Greece.

We will spend two days in this fabulous region.

Day 8 - 10

Travel from Messolongi to Kalabaka - Meteora  (268 km - 3h 15 min)

Meteora is the ancient religious tradition of Greece, orthodox monasteries of Meteora are a UNESCO World  Heritage.

Kalabaka will be the town where we will be accommodated for two nights, experiencing the culinary & historical culture.

Day 10 - 14

Travel from Kalabaka to Thessaloniki (227km 2h46min)

From historical ruins and Ottoman gems to a vibrant culture, this city has it all, something for everyone.

Farewell dinner in a prime fine dining restaurant and departure next day back to 🇺🇸 USA
